Founded in 1990, CADSTAR was immediately engaged as a sub-contractor by J.M.
Montgomery to provide planning and deployment services for the City of Los
Angeles' Bureau of Engineering, Solids Technology and Resource Recovery
Group.
CADSTAR was instrumental in helping the Bureau migrate from manual
drafting to full computer-aided design. The move paid-off handsomely for
the City as one of their largest wastewater construction projects was
completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
We have
been involved in assessing requirements, planning, recommending, and
integrating products into the computer-aided design environment for the
Bureau of Engineering's wastewater program ever since. In addition, CADSTAR continues to provide technical consulting services in support
of the City of Los Angeles' office automation technology programs.
Over the
years we have expanded our services related to architectural design to
include staffing augmentation, training of project personnel, development
and implementation of design standards, and providing ongoing user and
system support.
